You might think that after deleting files from your computer you can just drag them back onto your hard drive.
Not so fast.
You’ll have to go back to the original location.
There’s a workaround.
Here’s how.
If you’ve got a Google Drive account, you can download and use FileCorrupter to recover files from the file system.
This software has been available for some time, but it was not designed for use with files stored on Google Drive, so it requires you to sign up with a Google account.
In addition, you’ll need a copy of your Google Drive credentials, which can be found in your Google account settings.
Once you’ve done that, FileCorrupter will ask you to download a copy, which will take about 10 seconds.
When you do so, you should be able to get to the files folder, which is what you’ll want to search for.
To do this, simply double-click the file.
After that, you’re ready to recover the deleted files.
If the file was saved to the drive in an earlier version of FileCorrP, it will still work.
FileCorporr is designed to recover file information, which means that it can recover deleted or deleted-by-user files and folders as well as any data that was copied from one location to another.
To see if your files have been recovered, go to FileCorpP’s settings and click Recover deleted files and recover deleted folders.
If this doesn’t work, you might need to restore files using the FileCorruptor software.
