By default, the app will open files that are already in your Downloads folder, and open them with a different file extension, but if you have a Google Play Movies or TV app installed on your device, you can now choose to open the files in the M3u format.
This will open the M4V files as normal, or you can add a “M3U” file extension to your files so they open in the format of your choice.
For instance, if you want the file to open in M4A or M4X format, add the extension “M4V” to your M3M files, and then the M2X files will open in MP4 format.
You can find out more about the changes that have been made to M3Us file format on The Fiddler’s M3UP site, but it’s a great way to find files that you may have missed in the past.
Just click the M or M2 buttons on the top right of the page, and the file will open.
