Updated April 26, 2019 09:12:10 Chick-Fil.a, a fast-food restaurant chain, is rumoured to be developing a reality show for gay and lesbian couples.
The show, which has not been named, is described as a “gay dating experience” that will air on the Chick-in-the-Box network.
According to the network, the show would feature the stars of “chick-fila”, including the franchise’s founder, Reggie Fils Aime.
Aime has previously said that he was “100 per cent” a heterosexual, but he has said he would not necessarily date a gay person if he were given the opportunity.
“I would have to make a conscious decision about whether or not to date a homosexual or bisexual person or if it would be a reality TV show,” he told CNN in a 2014 interview.
“But I would be open to it if that were the only choice.”
He later added: “I’d be open, but if I could make a gay-to-straight conversion, then I would.
I would love to see it.”

However, the network is not ruling out partnering with an organisation such as GLAAD.
In a statement, the company said it is exploring a range of options, including partnerships with organisations such as the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, GLAad and other LGBT rights organisations.
The network has previously been criticised for its discriminatory policies and has been criticised by LGBT activists.
Former Disney CEO Robert Iger said the network should be “held to the same standards” as other companies.
Chik-fil.-A has also been criticised due to its “lack of diversity” in the restaurant industry.
But, according to the company, “the majority of our customers are straight”.
